Cookie Policy
Last updated: 29 July 2026
This is a draft. It should not be treated as binding before company details are filled in and a lawyer has reviewed it.
This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies we use, why, and how you can manage your preferences.
1. Strictly necessary cookies (no consent required)
Authentication cookie: keeps you signed in. Managed by Supabase. Without it you cannot access your account.
Language preference (eyerival-locale): remembers which language to open the site in.
Consent preference (eyerival-consent): stores your choice on this page for six months.
These are required for the service to function, so they do not require consent and cannot be declined.
2. Analytics and session recording (consent required)
Microsoft Clarity records where you click, how far you scroll and session replays, so we can find usability problems.
The script is added to the page ONLY after you give explicit consent. If you decline, it is never loaded and no such data is collected about you.
Password fields and content marked as sensitive are masked automatically.
Declining does not restrict your use of the site.
3. Cookieless measurement
Vercel Analytics produces aggregate statistics such as page views and country distribution. It uses no cookies and does not identify you, so it falls outside the consent requirement.
4. Managing your preferences
The banner on your first visit lets you accept or decline. The default is "no consent" — nothing analytical loads before you decide.
To change your decision, clear your browser cookies and the banner will reappear.
You can block all cookies in your browser settings, but blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in.
